Project: Import of UV-specific adhesives for printing from China to Iran
One of the recent specialized projects of Opal Moon was the import of 100 kilograms of UV-specific adhesives (UV curing adhesive) used in digital printing, UV flatbed printing, lamination, and graphic industries. These adhesives, with advanced formulation and high resistance to UV light, were ordered for industrial applications such as printing on glass, metal, plastic, and composite materials. The origin of production was reputable factories in Guangdong Province, China, and the total value of the shipment was set at approximately 7,500 yuan (roughly equivalent to the market value in Iran at the time of ordering). Due to the product’s sensitivity to transport conditions (maintaining temperature and preventing leakage), air transportation was chosen to preserve the quality and performance of the adhesives.

Current status: In delivery
Direct air transport was carried out from Guangzhou or Shenzhen airport to Imam Khomeini Airport (IKA). The entire process included sourcing adhesives with suitable viscosity and curing time for Iranian UV printing machines, precise quality control at the factory (adhesion test, transparency, and heat resistance), safe anti-leakage packaging, and full coordination with Iranian customs regulations (Standards Organization and Customs Affairs). The approximate delivery time from loading to clearance and arrival at the customer’s warehouse is estimated at about 7–10 days, which, considering the speed of air transport and quick clearance, is considered one of the strengths of this project.
This import was a successful example of supplying specialized raw materials for the printing and packaging industries in Iran, which, with a focus on high quality, competitive pricing, and fast delivery, met the urgent needs of customers (digital printing workshops and advertising sign manufacturers). With the increasing growth of UV printing in Iran, Opal Moon is ready to regularly supply similar shipments with higher volumes and establish a stable supply chain for these sensitive chemical materials. This project confirms that air transport is an efficient and reliable option for medium-value, time-sensitive goods on the China-to-Iran route.
